    The comprehensive, values-based approach provides direction, encouragement, and accountability for residents as they live their lives under the leadership of Jesus Christ seeking to recover from their addictions, destructive lifestyles, and homelessness.

    Located on our central campus
    Meets the needs of the whole person body, mind, soul
    Safe and structured 14-24 month program
    Food, shelter . . . . and accredited preschool for children of resident moms
    Academic education (GED and beyond), memory and comprehension skills using the NOVA Innovative Learning System computer-based curriculum taught in the George W. Jenkins Center of Learning
    Life skills training (anger management, budgeting, parenting, decision making, etc.)
    Spiritual growth Family Integrity Training, Bible studies, church, and chapel
    Paid internships to gain work experience, reintroduction to the work environment
    Resume building, job hunting, interviewing


The Lighthouse Ministries Men's Rescue Mission is equipped to serve the homeless and at-risk in Lakeland. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. daily to serve those who need a meal, a hot shower, and a warm bed. During their stay, there is an afternoon chapel service where local pastors share the gospel message. All are served a hearty snack, a hot dinner and breakfast, and a new change of clothes during their stay.

There is no charge for your first three visits at our Rescue Mission monthly. The fee is $7/nightly after that, however dinner and chapel services are served at no charge. Women and children are welcome to attend our chapel service and dinner, but only men may stay overnight. Counseling and discipleship is available.

Photo identification is required to check in. There is no drinking, drug use, or cursing allowed on campus. Each guest is allowed to store two (2) bags in the baggage room for the evening, but they must be taken with them upon leaving.
