About This Shelter
Shelter and transitional housing for youth
Located in Park Ridge and surrounding area, The Harbour provides an LGBTQ welcomed, comprehensive continuum of housing and case management services to youth in crisis, ages 12 through 20. The Harbour offers individualized services through three core housing programs
-Shelter, Female or Female Identified, Ages 12-20
-Youth in Transition, Ages 17-22
-STEPs (Successful Teens/Effective Parents), Ages 16-21
The Harbour is the only state-licensed emergency shelter providing emergency shelter and services to young people experiencing homeless over the age of 18 in the North/Northwest Suburbs.
