About This Shelter
Safe Haven of Mt. Carmel Illinois, Inc. is a private (non-state funded) temporary Emergency Shelter for homeless women and their children in the greater Wabash County Area of Southeastern Illinois.
The following are requirements for individuals seeking temporary emergency shelter at Save Haven of Mount Carmel.
An applicant must be in one of the following categories:
A female over the age of 18.
A female over the 18 and her minor children under the age of 17.
An emancipated female minor with or .without children.
