Every night for the colder half of the year (Oct. 15 to Apr. 15) churches provide overnight shelter for women, including dinner and breakfast. The location rotates from church to church each night. They call this the Open Arms Women's Shelter. Intake is handled by Dayspring Women's Center, a day center for women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They can be reached at 219-510-5432.
