About This Shelter
The Transitional Living Program at MCRC serves homeless individuals and families. The main purpose is to provide these homeless families with the support that they need to become self sufficient and eventually have stable and permanent housing.
Currently, MCRC point in time capacity is 42 beds that are utilized for transitional houses. MCRCs Transitional Housing Facilities provide a safe place, free from discrimination, harassment, and rejection, a place of mutual trust where participants are required to structure decisions for their own lives.
Case managers assist with life skills training, budget counseling, financial literacy, and goal settings. Participants must be employed to be accepted and to remain in the program.
