About This Shelter
Anne Arundel County DSS (Department of Social Services), Homeless Services. This department handles all of Anne Arundel County Homeless Services.
For assistance with crises: Provides emergency services to adults and families in crisis who are homeless. Assistance may be provided to one of the area's homeless shelters. Counseling, brokering community resources/services, and advocacy also available.
To be eligible: Must report available income and other financial sources. Must not receive benefits from another jurisdiction. Clients must have all mental and/or physical health prescriptions in their possession to be eligible for shelter referral. Adults and families in crisis who are homeless and in need of assistance. Must be substance free. Must apply in person to the AADSS office for assistance.
