About This Shelter
Emergency shelter, transitional shelter. Counseling Day shelter and meals(both males and females have access today shelter)
The Cecil County Men's Shelter, often referred to as Settlement House, provides transitional housing for men who are experiencing a period of homelessness in their lives. The Men's Shelter is within walking distance to medical services, social services, and employment opportunities. The men to move toward independence, greater self-sufficiency and increased hope and wholeness by receiving referrals to medical and mental health providers, help with a job search or improving education, case management, the hospitality of food and friendship, and individual and small group interaction. The Men's Shelter works closely with the Veterans Administration and reserves eight of the fifteen beds for veterans who are experiencing homelessness.
