HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday: 9:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. & 5:00p.m. - 7:30p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.
Friday: 9:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.
LARS serves homeless and low-income families and individuals in Laurel, Maryland. Our service area includes parts of Prince George's (zip codes 20707 and 20708), Howard (20723), and Anne Arundel (20724) Counties.Services including: short-term financial assistance to prevent evictions and utility stoppage; assistance with security deposits and first months rent; vouchers for eyeglasses, hearing aids, clothing and furniture; referrals for shelter; and a food pantry which can be utilized by clients. LARS can assist homeless clients with obtaining ID cards and birth certificates, prescriptions and other minor health expenses, drug treatment referrals , and mental health needs.
