About This Shelter
Emergency Shelter
The Community Shelter of Union County emergency shelter serves single adults and families.
We provide short term shelter while we work with clients with our Rehousing program to stabilize and move into permanent housing.
In Union County, the number of our neighbors living at or below the poverty line paired with the lack of affordable housing are the primary causes of people experiencing an episode of homelessness. Our system of emergency shelter and rehousing programs have evolved to address these issues in Union County to make these episodes brief, rare, and one time only.

Food
The Community Shelter of Union County has a robust food program that serves many of our neighbors across the county.
Dining Hall
Our kitchen and dining hall provides 3 prepared meals a day to anyone experiencing a need.
Breakfast is served 8:30-9 am.
Lunch is served 12:30-1 pm.
Supper is served 6:30-7 pm.
Pantry
In Spanish, coming soon. En espaol, prximamente.
We operate 2 drive through pantries a month.
