Anna Sample Family Shelter - Volunteers of America Delaware Valley

Emergency housing to women, children, and families experiencing homelessness.

The Anna M. Sample House has 93 beds and on-site support provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Volunteers of America Delaware Valley recognizes homelessness is a disruptive and often traumatic event, and that families with children are uniquely impacted. As such, the professional staff at Anna M. Sample House is highly skilled and trained in mobilizing the resources, services, and supports individuals and families need to re-establish stability and wellness.

Eligibility: Single women and families entering the Anna M. Sample House are typically referred and funded via their local board of social services. However, Anna M. Sample House also provides accommodations to individuals and families who find themselves in emergency situations.
