About This Shelter
We're glad to have you come visit and the coffeepot is always on! We have an existing capacity of a 32-bed men's dormitory, a 7-bed woman's dormitory and 5 family apartments. The Lighthouse Outreach Center is a Christian based homeless shelter providing each resident's basic needs:
Physical Needs
a) Three meals per day
b) Clothing and personal Items as needed
c) Hygiene (showers, toiletries, bedding)
d) Laundry facilities
e) Separate living quarters for single males and females
f) Family efficiency apartments
Spiritual Needs:
a) The Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior
b) Prayer and Bible Study
c) Evening Church Services
d) Morning Chapel Service
Other Needs
a) Employment referrals*
b) Substance abuse treatment referrals
c) SSI, SSDI assistance
d) Housing referrals*
e) Mental Health referrals
