About This Shelter
Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Provides emergency shelter and transitional housing for homeless families with children in Anderson County.
Our mission is to reduce homelessness for children and their families in Anderson County by uniting local congregations through an Interfaith Hospitality Network to provide shelter, food and the necessary tools needed for the families to regain their independence
One Step Closer to Independence
Through a new partnership with Grace Episcopal Church, Family Promise offers transitional housing for guests as they exit the Interfaith Hospitality program but still need case management support. These "Sunshine Houses" provide an affordable, safe and consistent home for guests as they start work, pay off debt and become fiscally stable. They provide ways to help families into more stable housing situations and break the cycle of homelessness.
