About This Shelter
Peace House is a non-profit organization that provides an emergency shelter for individuals and families that are fleeing sexual assault and/or domestic violence. Peace House offers a confidential and safe environment with caring and knowledgeable staff, available 24 hours a day, that provides much needed support to these victims. All services provided are free of charge.
Additionally, while staying at the shelter, individuals will meet with a caseworker, will develop safety plans, look for jobs, work on action plans so that they can become self-sufficient, find resources so that they can get financial support and permanent housing and much more.
