About This Shelter
Lighthouse Mission Ministries is a privately operated, non-denominational Christian ministry that has been open 24 hours a day since 1923; it is Bellingham and Whatcom County's only walk-in crisis homeless shelter for men, women with children.

The Mission's main building at the corner of Holly and F streets is the point of entry for most services.
Open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, needy men and women can attain the following services:
Meals, counseling, shelter
Extended stay housing for men
Dorm for men with mental health problems
Medical respite (for men referred by PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center)
Special circumstances housing (men with children, women with teenage sons, families)
