To be eligible for an apartment at Lounsberry Meadow, applicants must not exceed the current maximum income limits published by HUD annually.  The minimum income limits are based on the current rents for the apartment type.  Applicants with lower annual incomes may still qualify but will need to provide a guarantee for the rent payment.  Meeting the income limits does not guarantee acceptance and offer of an apartment.
Lounsberry Meadow sits on attractively landscaped and well maintained grounds with ample parking. There are a variety of shopping and recreation options close by and easily accessible. There are 47 one bedroom apartments and 5 studio units. The common areas offer a laundry room, community room with a large screen television and kitchen, library rooms, a computer resource center and meeting room.  Outside, there is a large patio overlooking a spacious lawn area, a screened in gazebo and bocce court.
In 2010, the installation of a solar panel system was installed to assist in keeping the cost of common area electricity down.  At the time, the system represented the tenth largest solar project in all of Morris County.  It is an 82.9 kilowatt system that reduces the electricity costs by approximately 40% per year.
