City of Tucson Department of Housing and Community Development Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The City of Tucson Department of Housing and Community Development (CTDHCD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open from July 2015 until January 2017; and before that in January 2014. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.


To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.


This waiting list has the following preferences: Elderly, disabled, employed at least 20 hours a week, live and/or work in Pima County, veteran, displaced due to insufficient HCV program funding, displaced by government action, 51 Homes and HCBS program participants, special program transfers from Public Housing, youth aging out of the FUB program.
