Eligibility
The Housing Authority of Milledgeville (HAM) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
The HAM offers two Public Housing communities with 319 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply:
2. Visit the HAM to pick up an application, located at 545 West Martin Luther King Dr., Milledgeville, GA 31061, between the hours of 9:30 am until 3:30 pm.
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, between the hours of 9:30 am until 3:30 pm.
Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, last years tax return, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
The HAM does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: involuntary displaced due to natural disaster, fire, or government action, employed, elderly, disabled, or victim of domestic violence.
