Eligibility
The Housing Authority of the City of Tifton (HACT) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
The HACT offers three Public Housing communities with 383 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
To apply, visit the HACT to pick up an application, located at 15 E 16th Street, Tifton, GA 31793, during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, you must call the HACT to find out when its next call-in day is. The HACT only has call-in days to schedule interviews once every 60 days. The HACT can be reached at (229) 382-5434 during normal office hours.
Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
