Dubuque, Iowa Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The City of Dubuque Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed.

The HCDD last accepted applications for one day on September 14, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were three ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application.
3. Call the HCDD.

Once the paper application was completed, it was either:

1. Emailed to the HCDD.
2. Dropped off in the drop box outside the HCDD office.
3. Faxed to the HCDD.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery each month.
