1-Bedroom Senior and Disabled Public Housing Waiting List

The Decatur Housing Authority (DHA) waiting list for 1-Bedroom Elderly (50+)/Disabled Public Housing apartments at Concord Highrise, Lexington Highrise, and Hartford Highrise is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least September, 2019, until further notice.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed. The DHA pre-application states "Decatur Housing Authority ulitizies a local preference." But the specific preference, or preferences have not been confirmed. HUD's official term for any preference is called a "local preference." It's possible that this preference is for persons who reside and/or work in Macon County, since that is a question on the application.
