Forest Oaks Apartments, Near Elderly Project-Based Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) Near Elderly Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at Forest Oaks Apartments is closed.

The HACC last accepted applications for this waiting list from March 9, 2022, until March 11, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the HACC public notice, "To be eligible for Forest Oaks Apartments, applicants MUST be 55 years of age or older."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limit for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $32,650 
• 2 Persons $37,300
• 3 Persons $41,950
• 4 Persons $46,600

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Applicants who are currently on the HACC’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) wait list

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
