Eligibility
The McHenry County Housing Authority (MCHA) Near Elderly Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list for Studio and 1-Bedroom apartments at Residences of Lake in the Hills is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least February, 2021, until further notice.
To apply during the opening period, print the application and background check form available online here. Scroll down to the "Residences of Lake in the Hills" section.
Once the application has been completed, it must be mailed to McHenry County Housing Authority, 1108 N. Seminary Avenue, PO Box 1109, Woodstock, IL 60098.
This waiting list has the following preferences:
- Persons with disabilities transitioning from a licensed nursing facility into a private rental.
It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
