Eligibility
The Halstead Housing Authority (HHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
The HHA offers one Public Housing community with 39 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply:
- Visit the HHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 815 W 6th Street, Halstead, KS 67056, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
- Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (316) 835-2026, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, proof of all income, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
