Eligibility
The Russell Housing Authority (RHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
The RHA offers one Public Housing community with 78 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply:
- Visit the RHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 330 W 4th St, Russell, KS 67665, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.
- Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (785) 483-3400, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, proof of all income, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
