Eligibility
The Housing Authority of Burnsville (HAB) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The HAB offers one Public Housing community with 111 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the HAB office to pick up a pre-application, located at 401 Sunset Dr, Burkesville, KY 42717, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday. No documents are needed when the pre-application is dropped off.
An appointment will be made at the time the pre-application is returned to the HAB office. Be sure to bring these documents with you at the time of the appointment: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members. All adults must be present at the time of the appointment.
The HAB does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
