Eligibility
The Housing Authority of Knott County (HAKC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The HAKC offers one Public Housing community with 81 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.
To apply, visit that HAKC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 997 KY-160, Hindman, KY 41822, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
No documents are needed at this time.
The HAKC does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
