Eligibility
The Housing Authority of Richmond (HAR) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The HAR offers four Public Housing communities with 277 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 5 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the HAR office to pick up a pre-application, located at 502 Ellis Ct., Richmond, KY 40475 during normal office hours.
Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the HAR at (859) 623-5968 to schedule an appointment to hand in the pre-application.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members, food stamps award letter (if applicable).
The HAR does have a preference point system and they will go over them during the appointment.
