Minden, Louisiana Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Minden Housing Authority (MHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Pre-applications were last available from November 6, 2019, until December 11, 2019; and accepted from December 16, 2019, until December 17, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to pick up a pre-application from the Minden Housing Authority office. Pre-applications were only available from November 6, 2019, until December 11, 2019

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must have been hand delivered on either December 16, 2019 or December 17, 2019, to the Minden Housing Authority office.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It is not known how selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

According to the MHA, the, "Application must be completed in its entirety. Incomplete applications will be returned for corrections and will cause you to be placed in a lower position."
