Eligibility
The Lynn Housing Authority and Neighborhood Development (LHAND) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.
Please note: The family public housing waiting list is currently closed.
The LHAND offers three public housing communities with 455 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are three ways to apply:
1. Visit the LHAND to pick up an application, located at 174 South Common St., Lynn, MA 01905 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Tuesday 8:00 am until 7:00 pm, and Fridays from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm.
2. Request to have an application mailed to you by calling 781-581-8760 between the days and hours noted above.
3. Download an application here, then print and complete.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
Be sure to include a copy of your DD214 if claiming the veteran preference.
The LHAND does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: live and/or work in Lynn, victim of domestic violence, or veteran.
