Eligibility

The Woburn Housing Authority (WHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families, and state public housing for elderly disabled individuals.

Please note: Only the three and four bedroom waiting lists are open for family public housing.

The WHA offers one family public housing community with 100 units, and four state public housing communities dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.

There are two ways to apply:
1. Visit the WHA to pick up an application, located at 59 Campbell St., Woburn, MA 01801, Monday-Wednesday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Thursday from 8:30 am until 6:30 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm.
2. Download an application here for federal or state, then print and complete.

Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.

Be sure to include documentation for any preferences that are being claimed.

The WHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: employed, veteran, elderly, disabled, live and/or work in Woburn.

More information can be found by visiting the WHA website at http://www.woburnhousing.org/, or by calling 781-935-0818 Monday-Wednesday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Thursday from 8:30 am until 6:30 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm.
