Eligibility
The Frostburg Housing Authority (FHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior disabled individuals.
The FHA offers one apartment community for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are three ways to apply for public housing:
1. Visit the FHA to pick up an application, located at 101 Meshach Frost Village, Frostburg, MD 21532, between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
2. Download an application here, then print and complete.
3. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 301-689-9700 during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above, or faxed to 301-689-5125.
This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: elderly, disabled, victim of domestic violence, living in substandard living conditions, living and/or working in Frostburg, enrolled in an educational or job training program, or a veteran.
