Eligibility
The Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA) Public Housing waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for two weeks from August until September, 2018; and before that in June, 2017. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.
There were four ways to apply during the opening period:
- Download and print the application online.
- Complete the application at any of the HACA Public Housing management offices.
- Complete the application at the HACA office.
- Pick up an application at the HACA office.
Once the application has been completed, it must have been:
- Mailed to the HACA office or any of the public housing management offices. Mailed applications must be postmarked by September 6, 2018, or it will not be accepted.
- Dropped off at the HACA office, or at any of the HACA Public Housing management offices.
This waiting list had the following preferences: Persons Who Live or Work Locally, Veterans, Homeless, Working/Employed, Victims of Domestic Violence, and Those Displaced by Government Action.
Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
