Eligibility
The Forest City Housing Authority (FCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
The FCHA offers one Public Housing community with 149 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
To apply: You must visit the FCHA in person on Tuesdays only, between the hours of 9:00 am until 11:30 am, and 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm. The FCHA is located at 147 E. Spruce St., Forest City, NC.
Be sure to bring these documents with you: birth certificates, social security cards, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of income. All adult household members must be present when applying for Public Housing.
