Eligibility
The Clarkson Housing Authority (CHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The CHA offers one Public Housing community with 23 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.
There are two ways to apply:
- Visit the CHA office to pick up an application, located at 218 Czech Dr., Clarkson, NE 68629, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm CT, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Request to have and application mailed or emailed to you by calling (402) 892-3416, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Once the application has been completed it can be emailed, mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Documents are not needed at this time. When you receive the application, it will state that they need the documents, but disregard that. They prefer to get all documentation when an apartment becomes available.
The CHA does not have any preferences.
Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the application has been received.
Important note: Applicants who have been placed on the waiting list must inform the housing authority immediately if your application information changes (such as contact information, income, and household members). In the case that the office sends a notice that does not get returned, or if application information is out of date, your name may be terminated from the waiting list. Contact the housing authority to find out how to update application information.
For more information, call the CHA office at (402) 892-3416 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
