Eligibility
The Jamestown Housing Authority is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and elderly/disabled individuals.
This housing authority offers two apartment communities for elderly/disabled individuals, and one community for families.
1. Senior Highrise, download application here, to print and complete.
2. Hotel Jamestown Apartments, download application here, to print and complete.
3. Chadakoin Apartments, download application here, to print and complete.
There are four ways to apply for public housing:
1. Download, print, and complete an application by following the links listed above.
2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 716-664-3345, during normal office hours.
3. Request an application be faxed to you by faxing the office at 716-664-9908.
4. Visit the office to pick up an application, located at 110 West Third St., Suite 210, Jamestown, NY 14701, during normal office hours.
Once your application has been completed, it can be hand delivered or mailed to the address listed above.
This housing authority does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list as: disabled, elderly, victim of domestic violence, victim of a violent crime, veteran, living in substandard conditions, or housing shelter costs exceed 50% of income.
