Muskingum County, Ohio Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority (ZMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from March 9, 2021 until March 12, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $22,800 | 5 Persons $35,200
• 2 Persons $26,050 | 6 persons $37,800
• 3 Persons $29,300 | 7 Persons $40,400
• 4 Persons $32,550 | 8 Persons $43,000

The following documentation was required:

• The full name of each family member as it appears on his or her social security card. This is needed to help determine the voucher size
• Each household member’s social security number and birthdate
• Gross yearly income for all members of the household (income before any deductions)
• Current mailing address or P.O. Box (This is how you will be contacted when your application reaches the top of the waitlist)
• A valid email address is required to receive confirmation that your application has been placed on the Wait List. ZMHA will send confirmation emails no later than March 31, 2021

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
