Eligibility
The Clayton Housing Authority (CHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
Please note: The wait time for Public Housing is quite lengthy.
The CHA offers one Public Housing community with 30 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the CHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 517 N 1st St, Clayton, OK 74536, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, CT, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.
The CHA does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.
