Stilwell Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Stilwell Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. This waiting list is open indefinitely.


Stilwell, OK is about about 95 miles southeast of Tulsa, OK.


To apply, visit the SHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 801 N 4th St., Stilwell, OK 74960, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.


Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.


Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.


The SHA does have a preference for: Elderly and/or disabled individuals. 


Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority.


The current wait time for a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher is approximately 6 to 12 months.
