Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) waiting list for 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom Public Housing apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from February 10, 2020, until February 24, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limit for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $30,800 | 5 People $47,500
• 2 People $35,200 | 6 People $51,000
• 3 People $39,600 | 7 People $54,500
• 4 People $43,950 | 8 People $58,050

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

1,500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences. 500 applicants were each placed on the 2, 3, and 4-Bedroom waiting lists.
