Chester, Pennsylvania Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Chester Housing Authority (CHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for three weeks from January until February, 2019. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Chester, PA is about 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia, PA.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. The application was available in English and Spanish.

This waiting list had the following preferences: HOPE VI relocatees, Elderly, Disabled, Working/Employed, Veterans, Live or Work Locally, persons who have completed homebuyer education, and/or have credit and mortgage approval and wish to purchase a home under the Housing Choice Voucher Homeownership option.

500 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences.
