Glenside and Oakbrook Homes Public Housing Waiting List

The Reading Housing Authority (RHA) Public Housing waiting list for apartments at Glenside and Oakbrook Homes is closed.

The RHA last accepted applications for this waiting list from February 22, 2022, until February 25, 2022. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the RHA public notice, this waiting list is "for the following categories only: 4BR units located in Glenside and Oakbrook Homes and 5BR units located in Oakbrook Homes only. Applicant families must qualify for the bedroom size (4BR and 5BR units) based upon an occupancy standard of 1 bedroom per 2 persons, with limited exceptions."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Individuals and families who live in the City of Reading
• Families of which a household member is a service member or veteran

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
