Dimmit and Zapata County, Texas Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Laredo (HACL) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Pre-applications were last accepted from March 16, 2020, until March 27, 2020.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Print the online paper pre-application.
2. Pick up a pre-application from the HACL .

Once the pre-application was completed, it was either:

1. Submitted in person to the HACL.
2. Emailed to the HACL.
3. Dropped off in person to multiple locations mentioned by the HACL.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Unsheltered homeless, Homeless referrals, Veteran, Moving up or in transitional housing,  Elderly family, Disabled family, Domestic violence, Displacement.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
