Public Housing Waiting List

The Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) waiting list for Public Housing apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted from July 17, 2017, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application here.
2. Print the paper application available here. Select the "CRHA PH Application" link.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be returned to the CRHA Rental Office at 500 1st St. South, Charlottesville, VA 22902.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Live or work within the city of Charlottesville VA
• Homeless
• Elderly
• Disabled

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
