Senior and Disabled Public Housing Waiting List

The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Elderly and Disabled Public Housing waiting list for 1 and 2-Bedroom apartments at Bobbitt Midrise, Partrea Midrise, Sykes Midrise, and Hunter Square Midrise is currently open.

The NRHA is accepting applications for this waiting list from the earliest confirmed date of January, 2019, until further notice.

To apply during the opening period, print the application available online here.

Once the application has been completed, it must be either:

1. Mailed to the NRHA Occupancy Department, P.O. Box 968, Norfolk, Virginia, 23501
2. Hand delivered to the NRHA, located at 555 E Main St, First Floor/Lobby Drop Box, Norfolk, VA 23510.

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Head of Household, Spouse or other adult (18 or older) is employed
• Work a minimum of 15 hours per week
• Place of employment is in Norfolk
• Head of Household or Spouse is Disabled
• Head of Household is the primary caregiver for a disabled household member
• Head of Household or Spouse is Elderly
• Head of Household or Spouse is a Veteran with a Honorable or Other Than Honorable Discharge

It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, weighed by order of preferences.
