The Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted on a limited basis from March 19, 2021 until March 25, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the NRHA, "Applications will be accepted during this open waitlist period for those who meet the following criteria: Non-senior applicants with disabilities who are transitioning out of institutional or other separated settings, are in serious risk of institutionalization or being homeless or are homeless."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were listed on the public notice.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.
