Mid Florida Community Services Port Richey is a non-profit organization that provides emergency financial assistance for rent and electric, help with prescriptions, and also offers counseling. Short term assistance when funds are available is offered. Clients are eligible with an income at 125% of the federal poverty level. Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program Provides annual assistance with energy vendor on households at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. CSBG provides case management and assistance for low-income households working towards family self-sufficiency. Can provide assistance with rent, mortgage, energy, and RX. By appointment only. Appointments may be scheduled by calling MFCS' toll free number at 844-873-3185. Documents needed for assistance include: Valid Identification; Social Security Cards (required for all household members); Proof of Income; SNAP (food stamp) Award Letter; and, Lease (if applicable).
