Housing Authority of St. Mary's County

The housing authority of st. Mary's County, Maryland offers rental assistance in the form of State funded Rental Allowance Program and Federal funded Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher.  B oth are designed to provide affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing.  Rental Assistance is provided by Federal and State Programs such as: Rental Allowance Programs (RAP) -  The State of Maryland's Rental Allowance Program (RAP) is designed to assist very low income persons who have critical housing needs. Eligibility for the Rental Allowance Program includes:    Resident of St. Mary's County    Verification of critical housing need    Income eligible    Photo ID is needed as documentation required
