Housing Authority of Calvert County provides short term rental assistance through the state government's Rental Allowance Program. This program provides temporary payments for housing for homeless and others by paying private landlords from $460 to $730 per month to assist with rent. Has Housing choice voucher program as well. The Authority also administers the Maryland Special Loan Program to provide low interest loans for the rehabilitation of housing for qualified homeowner's in Calvert County.
