Kalkaska Area Interfaith Resources

Kalkaska Area Interfaith Resources offers electric service payment assistance, gas service payment assistance, heating fuel payment assistance, rent payment assistance, water service payment assistance.  Provides financial assistance for individuals that have eviction or shut off notices. Also provides rent payment assistance. Eligibility: Residents of Kalkaska County and must have been denied by the Department of Human Services prior to accessing K.A.I.R. services Application process: Call for information Documents required: Rental agreement/eviction notice, shut off notice Fees: No fees, donations acceptedService Hours of Operation: Thursday - Friday 10:00 am-3:00 pm Languages: Limited Spanish
