People Reaching Out to Other People (PROP) provides the following Services: Financial assistance for housing issues to prevent homelessness Rent or deposit assistance Mortgage assistance, short term stay support may be available to those who qualify Other financial assistance may be available: Gas and electricity re-connections Medical and dental needs Crisis child care Youth scholarship assistance Employment issues Eligibility: Residents of Eden Prairie and Chanhassen only. Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday : 9:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday: 4:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. Documentation needed: Photo ID Proof of address To request help with financial assistance, call PROP and ask to speak to a Client Intake Specialist. A telephone assessment will be completed to determine qualification for any of our services and to schedule an appointment. If you are calling after hours and/or reach a voicemail, a Client Intake Specialist will return your call within one business day. No walk-in appointments for financial requests.
